This simple fried rice is so flavorful because of all the aromatic herbs that you probably already have in your refrigerator.
Prepare all the aromatics and set aside.
When the wok or frying pan is sufficiently hot (4-5 minutes), add oil and sweet onions, stir-fry 2-3 minutes.
Add ginger and garlic, stir fry another 1-2 minutes until the ginger and garlic are fragrant.
Add the cooked and chilled rice to the pan and stir fry, breaking up the large chunks while mixing in the aromatics.
The rice should be quite delicious as is with a fresh and aromatic flavor, but you may adjust to taste with a sprinkle of salt, oyster sauce, or soy sauce (optional).
